It depends on what state in Oz you live in, but the majority of them require it to be RHD if the vehicle was made in the last 25yrs. (i.e. classic cars that are imported can stay the way they are)

I think the biggest benefit of that cover will be that its probably stronger, and if you strike something (a rock/stump whatever), it won't bend like a piece of aluminum foil like the stock one.
