Is that just an aftermarket piece? Or from a donor vehicle? I would like it protected from the elements too. There's just not a lot of room for fat guys in there!

1949 f5 fuse box

I was just wondering what everybody uses for a fuse box. Upgrade/rebuild? The dash is so small I was thinking maybe mounting one under the hood somewhere.

I sent them an email a week ago and haven't heard anything back yet. I'm thinking you're correct that it is dead and more than likely not worth the expense for something questionable.

Thanks for that explanation. Away from the engine, not toward the front like I was thinking. If I wasn't so stubborn I could have just looked at the bolt pattern!!
