I don't think you can beat a spray-in- bedliner....

I don't think you can beat a spray-in- bedliner. Just my opinion. Best option I ever put on a ranger.

Years ago we used to fill the pilot bearing with grease, then smack it with a dowell and it would pop the bearing out. I don't know if this will help you but give it a try.
