Since it's hard to get into and somewhat delicate, I personally would bead blast the socket and coat it with dielectric grease. Carefull use of sandpaper may do the trick as well.

They have a blob of mercury in them. It makes contact and turns them on at the proper angle. If it does not work check for proper grounding and dirty contacts inside for the bulb.

F.Y.I. Not all dana axles have the number cast on them. You need the B.O.M. Number stamped in the axle tube to be sure. Neither my front dana 60 or my old dana 44 had a cast 44 or 60 in them.

I certainly hope they have changed there ways from a paint and re box "rebuilder". I will be unlikely to try them out again, but someone else may give them a shot.
