I had exactly the same problem, only with a 95...

I had exactly the same problem, only with a 95 F250. My problem was fixed by finding the bad fuse in the power box under the hood. Who would have guessed there were two fuses? I am almost certain...

lectricman - I don't know if freeze plugs will work or not, but that is exactly what the metal plugs look like. I'm guessing yes - but I would hate to guess on something like that.

Yeah, makes sense. I had not thought of that. I guess the lesson is check or replace all check valves when a problem presents itself.
