I took off the 4 bolts on mine, cleaned it with...

I took off the 4 bolts on mine, cleaned it with gun solvent and put it back on. Problem solved. Course the other things a year later weren't so good....see my posts for the hell.}>

Mine dropped a valve and the piston shoved it...

Mine dropped a valve and the piston shoved it back into the head and jammed it in there. Throwing the rocker arm and spring into the head cavity. New engine reqd! These engines have serious problems...

2005 F150 that may or may not have blown up due to a bad plug change job. One of the intake valves on number two was hit by a piston and jammed into the head. Not completely closed I don't think....

:'(Wow! Have a look at this! Same thing happened to me, but I hate to say it, if the valve is stuck up as mine is, it most likely got that way by being hit by the piston. These are interference type...

Thanks Papa Tiger! I agree with you completely! Next question then is do I go ahead and get both heads re-done when the lower end has 150k on it? These are easy miles with no towing and oil changes...

Dunno yet. Can't seem to post a pic. Valve is stuck shut. Spring, keeper, and rocker were off and laying inside. Can't push down to valve.
