AE is a diagnostics tool.
The ScanGauge is just that, A gauge.
It provides helpful info. Thats it.
AE will allow you to record what your truck is doing to better figure otu the issues.

you jump the solenoid before starting.

You are essentially doing what the solenoid is supposed to be doing, inside it bridges it, but when it fails, it no longer creates the bridge.

Biggest tip i can give you is remove the bottom...

Biggest tip i can give you is remove the bottom exhaust flange bolts first before removing the top ones.

like I said,
if you are actually surging a stock turbo with stage 1's, you got air problems.

Surge is from lack of air getting to turbo.
So it over spins because there is no back pressure.

Well, the other thing, is it's near the pivot point of where its going to bump the tube.
So it would take massive amounts of travel to make it move that few extra inches.
