I drilled an 1/8" hole in the center of the pin...

I drilled an 1/8" hole in the center of the pin in the top, more than 1/2" deep. They actually came out fairly easily with a hammer and a flat end punch from the bottom with only a few bruises.

I have an alarm that I bought in the early 80's...

I have an alarm that I bought in the early 80's when I had a shop in a bad part of town. It has a motion detector and when set off has a buzzer so loud it hurts your ears in a 6,000 sq ft building....
