The rate of tax is whatever your current income tax rate is.

Not sure if it would still hold true or not, but I had a '98 Expy with 5.4 and 3.55's and traded for a '99 EB Expy with 5.4 and 3.73's and the fuel economy of the 3.73's was actually about 1.5 MPG...
