It will fit in your truck and has a speed sensor, but the yoke on the front may be slightly different. I'm not sure when they switched from a u-bolt yoke to the bolt-on flange.

The 5.0 hose should fit. I would cap the hose fittings on the cooler to keep dust and dirt out of the cooler until you can get the correct hose.

I believe that is an Explorer engine. On that style of intake manifold the PCV valve is located in the rear of the intake manifold, not in the valve cover....
