It's a personal preference but I'd remove the...

It's a personal preference but I'd remove the running boards unless you absolutely need them. It'll make the truck look like it sits a little higher.

Are you asking what's the minimal components you'll need to handle 35s? You're fine with the stock axles if you go with a 35" tire. It's not all about what upgrades you do to your truck either,...

new springs up front/add-a-leaf with block in rear OR new springs all around

On my old 75 F100 I installed a 6" lift from BDS...

On my old 75 F100 I installed a 6" lift from BDS and ran 36x12.5" bias TSL super swampers. Truck had the hp44 up front and 9" rear. Everything held up just fine off road with a 390 powering it all....
