ford did some strange things back in the day , so...

ford did some strange things back in the day , so it's probably a late 67 so they used what they had at that plant .

my 68 is a early 68 has the 67 visor/rear view mirror and the narrow side trim...

Got the seats re burlaped , I doubled up the burlap . just waiting for the new seat Upholstery to come in .

I always freeze my freeze plugs for 2 days ...

I always freeze my freeze plugs for 2 days before installing then put a light coat of J/B weld on contact surface (steve christ book tip)

other things was paint removed from holes...

was paint removed from holes before installing freeze plugs
if cold out and engine cold freeze plug could have shrunk a little
after market water pump put out more pressure
or...

Check out the Mustang under bed gas tank, only cost me about $200 and didn't loose any bed space .

if using as truck I would go the dish and deck the block a little to get at 10:1

Question replacement seat upholstery ??

I am redoing my bench seat , my original plan was to reuse the original upholstery and just refoam the seat , well the vinyl is so old and brittle I don't think that is a good idea .

so question...

I was shocked at how good the frame looked ,...

I was shocked at how good the frame looked , when i did my 66 Mustang seats they were all rusty and crusty . then again the Mustang is a convertible so maybe that had some thing to do with it ?
