Hi Guys!
Well I started looking around for a np435. (When you're right, you're right!). Found a 435 and bell housing out of a '69 f-350. It even has the e-brake and supposedly rebuilt 5 years ago...

If its a np435 I think I have one located about 30 miles from home for $80. If its a ford app trans with a granny low gear do you think it would be a bolt-in?

Its definitely a 4 speed. I'm in Kansas city. Trans is still in the truck.

Mine has PTO shaft on passenger side if that helps any.

Without getting too far off into the weeds on this I did find an old post/image on fordtrucks.com site of a Clark v282 in a 67 f600 that looks suspiciously similar.

Btw: I did find a place that will build one for $2100 with a 60k or 1 year warranty. They're the ones that said get the casting # off the input shaft, front and rear bearing cases, and top cover.

I won't know till I can scrape some grease and read the casting numbers which trans is actually in there. Its appears to have the flat top, PTO shaft on the passenger side and e-brake on top if that...

I'm about 99% sure its a 352. That's not to say that it was the original motor however. I'm not a gearbox guy, so I can't say for certain what's all wrong with the trans, but it was pretty noisy...
