In would be a bolt in after you rob the flexplate off your original. Starter nose cones may be different. Not sure on that. Keep in mind that all 352's and 360's magically become 390's on sale...

The top mounting tabs broke off/cracked on my offy due to the exhaust manifold not supporting the weight. Just something to watch out for/prevent.

It's a bit more detailed than that, but for the most part dodge, chevy and pre-98 Ford 8 lugs are 8x6.5" bolt pattern.

99 and up 8 lug Ford TRUCKS (F-250 & 350) are 8x170mm. The vans are 8x6.5"...

If it is in the t-housing....I believe "Triad" (which is what aftermarket parts stores use to look up parts) calls it a ported vacuum switch

Pull the lockouts, "cog" ring and the back spring...essentially making it a two wheeler. Drive it and see if it replicates the symptom
