Are thee replacement liners supposed to come with an additional 'Z' shaped piece to cover the hinge bracket? My old liner was too wrecked to tell. Just seems un-finished looking through a 1/2" gap...

Mine will look the way I bought it.
Mechanically A1 but body the way it retired from the farm fields of Alberta. After all, It earned this look from 60 + years of hard work.

Pertronix Ignitor

I just installed the Ignitor and Flame thrower coil on my 49 F47 v8 and it went from a 1/4" sometimes spark to a 1" blue flame that lit up the engine compartment:-X03
No way I'll flood this engine...

This is the same heater I have in my 49 F47 except yours is MUCH nicer than mine:)
A rad shop can check the core out and repair it as required. Might be worth a shot.
