Ford actually refers to both mirrors as western style. It depends on what brochure you are looking at.

Not everyone likes Bullnose. I respect the fact that some people like it. If you like it, then call your truck a Bullnose. There's no reason to make everyone here call it a Bullnose though.

This was feeling about the whole thing. Maybe there should be a "No Nickname" option on the poll. I don't know that I feel so comfortable with 50 or so people naming my truck for me.

I agree with those suggesting "side" in the name (box-side, line-side, square-side, slot-side). Perhaps carved-side.
