When mine had hard shifts from 1st to 2nd it felt you had just been rear ended. You won't mistake it with any other shift!

Thank you! Is it a worthwhile upgrade for the money.. ie: how much better braking is noticeable. I tow about 7000 lbs roughly but i have trailer brakes too, would i see a big difference do you think?

Depends on what you are buying. If you are trading it in on a 50 000 dollar new truck it will be a lot more than a 20 000 dollar vehicle. Good chance they don't really want a truck that is that old.
