I could NOT help notice you said you had gas in your oil in the first sentence. I would suspect you also have a bad fuel pump. This may explain the gas in the oil if you have a mechanical fuel pump...

Auto zone, they have manufacture refurbished ones cheap. I bought one and bolted it on and just adjust the idle and the choke cable, and it has been good ever since.

Yeah sorry, I was referring to a hood emblem from 1961-1966, and the reason I said $50-$60 dollars, is because I didn't know if you needed the gear and lightning or the V-8.
