The boiling water causes it to open, then when it cools, it seals. Because it's shipped with no housing, there is nothing for the spring to push against. (Which would be the pin and tab holder...

Nice job, thanks for the writeup. I have eyeballed IPRs remote oil cooler and egr delete kits, looks like quality stuff. I'm just not sure I would be comfortable with all the hoses....

Yes, it's only supposed to close when A/C is on MAX, but maybe it's possible it is closing at will. (it should have a vacuum hose going to the front of it)

EDIT: maybe try removing the vacuum...

There's a heater core line that runs along the firewall area from passenger side to under degas (coolant) reservoir. Check that area

You can't...you have to have an actual fuel...

You can't...you have to have an actual fuel pressure gauge. (this is because there is no fuel pressure sensor on the truck for Torque Pro to read from)
