The 5 speed main was a Spicer 6000 series, the 4speed auxiliary trans was a Spicer 8000 series. so two knobs, one each.

Beautiful engine! Only way I know to ID a 534 for sure is by stroke. The 534 is 4.2", the 477 & 401 were 3.75.
I am partial to the old C series, have a '62 C850 fire engine w/ John Bean apparatus....

My info from 62 is this- Centrifugal advance...

My info from 62 is this-

Centrifugal advance dist- 8 degrees BTDC
Dual advance dist- @10"mercury, 5.5 to 8.5 degrees BTDC

points- .014-.016

plugs Champion F10, .028-.032 gap

The 534 stroke was 4.20, the 477 was 3.75. Pull a spark plug, and stick in a very long bladed screwdiver. Carefully rotate the engine, marking top center & bottom center on the screwdriver shaft....

Does any one know of a source for a 16" tubeless wheel, 6 bolt pattern on 7.25 circle to fit a 65 F350 with duals?
