Changing out a pcm is alot easier than finding a bad wire. But sorry it is going to cost you a pcm. If it was a bad wire I myself wouldn't even go looking for it and just run a new wire to the pcm....

I wouldn't want one that isn't painted due to the fact it can and will rust where there isn't oil. I have seen it happen many times on older motors that don't get run everyday or sit for awhile.
