This is way to true, keep your foot out of it when you are just driving to get somewhere and not to hot rod around and you can save a HUGE amount of fuel. I learned this trick a long time ago back...

Sounds like tha time I had my oversized 12 that can't really fit in my truck in my room connected to an old pc power supply and a half dead amp, i remember it being so loud it would do the exact same...

That I can agree on, that's why I like sound systems as well, even if I install one in a car or truck if I go to sell it I can stuff the stock stuff back in and save my good stuff for the next ride....

I'd probably look at the price and give it a big old nope if its over 200 bucks. I'd be willing to rig up some lights on my truck one day but only if they don't cost me an arm and a leg.

That was my plan as well but being that the fan went out before I remember to borrow some cardboard from work I ended up going back to this idea. I plan on getting a better fan than what I have now...
