Deleted posts?

I posted in several forums last night, were they deleted or did I screw up?

main girdle and windage tray

I know DSS is good stuff, but I've seen a lot of girdles for around $150, and they're from quality places. For example, www.coasthigh.com. The windage tray should be $50ish for a normal mesh type.

Super Swamper question?

OOOHHHH, sorry about the miscommunications. I'd say on a fullsize that the 38"s are very manageble and better than 35's. They definitely helped with the approach/departure/breakover angles and with...

Super Swamper question?

LAST EDITED ON 22-Jan-01 AT 01:32 PM (EST)[p]Seriously, if you're not going to do a good bit of real offroading I'd find another tire to run. I am very tolerant of the characterisitics that...

Stroking a 351w how big can you go?

Danny, good question. I'm not sure, I can't get to that article where they swapped the AFR's on (they have 2.02's) but I'll look it up when I get back in town. My hunch is that it would. The Ford...

Warn hubs vs Ford hubs?

Good to hear from another EB driver, I have a '66. I've pondered this one for awhile too. From what I can tell, the Ford actually is stronger, looks like heavier materials and a stronger tooth...

Super Swamper question?

I went with a bit of an impulse buy today and want to know more about what I bought. I picked up a set of extremely low mile (<1000) TSL SX Swampers 38.5" on 16.5" x 14" Bart Monster rims, also in...

Stroking a 351w how big can you go?

Ford sells a 392, but you can go all the way to 427ci with a stock block. The 392 is as big as you can go without compromising the oil ring stability, not a big reliability problem but it does cause...

Super Swamper question?

This may be an Offroad question but I thought it may be relevant here as well. I went with a bit of an impulse buy today and want to know more about what I bought. I picked up a set of extremely...

Hiboy

I'd say you're looking at $3000 for a truck with decent body, and drivetrain solid enough to drive with some confidence.

Hiboy

Too open ended a question, do you want one as a daily driver, as a resto. project, a driver that needs TLC? As a starting point for a project, I'd say $1500 is fair. As a daily driver ready to go,...

More power for my 77 400m

The edelbrock and 4bbl should really wake that motor up. Maybe headers when you get a chance.

Ford Hiboy

Well, it won't be a popular opinion but here goes. I'd buy a '78-'79 f250, and that's coming from someone that has a '76 F250. The main reason is that you can get them with a high pinion Dana 60,...
