I don't know if you had "MyFord Touch" in the 2012 XLT but the 2015 has the generation 2 MyFord Touch in all Lariats. The dash you'll notice is different also from the 2012, that was a 2013 update....

That is correct - power from the upfitter wire (under the steering column) right to positive on the light bar. Ground to anything solid and you're good to go.

Note that the upfitter switches only...
