Your EB mileage pretty much jives with mine - 17.5 is my average over the last 12,000 miles. It seems that if you drive sedately or hyper mile the EB engine it'll adapt to that, then when you need it...

Last summer Ford had an engineer / marketing /owner event that I got to attend. At the time my wife's EB Platinum had already been on a vacation from Houston, Texas to Arizona in the dead of summer....

I take care of 2 EB trucks; no trouble with either of them, 19k miles on one and 9900 on the other. Both 4X4s and get between 16 - 19 mpg. I third the raped ape analogy!
