The 6 v battery is new,as is every wire,connector,etc.The Engine,frame,firewall,cab,etc is all grounded with big fatty cables,new lugs onto bright and shiny steel coated with oxide paste.

100 rpm/min with ignition off. Hardly cranks over with ignition on???

I ask the circle of wise and sage folks to help me figure this out.
With the ignition switch on the gauges move the heater motor will come one when witched.Everything seems to be the way it should...

There does not seem to be any metal or fibreglass reproductions.

If Ya had an original Perfect Metal one could it be used to clone others?

Making metal clones from an original Merc Tailgate?

If you had an original Mercury Tailgate in perfect condition would it be possible to have metal ones reproduced by means of molds etc.

Is this to costly? What would be involved?

Murcury Tailgates 48-50 ? Scammer or what?

I'm a car show in Yuma AZ today.This guy has a 48-50 and claims it is a Murcury.He says he got it in Tacoma Washington.So far,OK.

The truck has been customized.No darts on the hood,No nose...

Cowl Vent Gasket Question

Hi All,

I installed a new gasket and now the vent sits high.

With the old gasket everything was flush and perfect fitment.

A current poster says it will bed in over time.
