Those are the mirrors I have currently, and they keep swiveling at 45+ mph. Luckily the PO left the old mirror bracket mounts (except one)

Yeah I don't ever use my choke, moving it at all prevents me from starting or running, it has to be left wide open. I don't understand it

Huh, I have power brakes and mine sits that high. Almost couldn't hit the brakes in time the other day when a deer crossed right in front of me. Is that height also normal for power brakes?
