I've Never heard of anyone needing to clean the cat since it's flow-through. People have cleaned
out their dpf filters on their diesels, however. What's the problem you're having?

Autoenginuity will reset the DPF tables. I think the EGR and tranny tables are cleared whenever the battery is pulled. I seem to remember paying $360
for the AE + Ford enhanced package.

Muffled squealing from tranny

Some what sounds to be metal-on-metal squealing seems to be getting worse. It's coming from the tranny only when it's not torque-converter locked and varies with tranny speed, not necessarily rpms....

I'm bone stock and 90K on the clock in my FX4. I get around 14.5 around town and low 16-ish freeway, hand-calculated which is a little worse than my 6.4 even with all of the DPF emissions crap on...

H&S, Spartan and DPF-R seem to be the better choices. However don't set expectations too high on the mpg gains. To be realistic, you'll see savings from no more regens and maybe 0.5-2mpgs at best...
