Daily driver? Spend the $ to put a locker in if that's really what you want. Welding the gears is just a hillbilly mod that weakens the surrounding metal and eventually grenades the entire rear end....

I went with a Mbrp cat back system and love the sound, lots of complements too.

There are a bunch of people that have replaced the muffler with a straight pipe they will likely chime in shortly

You may want to consider testing the battery after drawing it down a few times.sometimes they bounce right back and sometimes they get too damaged You don't want to end up stranded again
