Look at the bellhousing pattern, if its the same as a 460, its a 351m or 400. If its the same as a 302, then its a 351C.

Find a wire that's hot with the switch on, and stays hot while the engine is cranking, and cold with the switch off, and cold in the acc mode. Add a resistor if needed and go.

Unless somebody has really dockered it up, brake lines are steel. And I'm sure if you get to checking it out, that's what you will find, you can replace it with a line from napa or other parts store....

I think the main bearing area was weak in the 292 blocks, the 312 blocks were made stronger, and if that's right, boring metal out would make things weaker.
