It's a bit more detailed than that, but for the most part dodge, chevy and pre-98 Ford 8 lugs are 8x6.5" bolt pattern.

99 and up 8 lug Ford TRUCKS (F-250 & 350) are 8x170mm. The vans are 8x6.5"...

If it is in the t-housing....I believe "Triad" (which is what aftermarket parts stores use to look up parts) calls it a ported vacuum switch

Pull the lockouts, "cog" ring and the back spring...essentially making it a two wheeler. Drive it and see if it replicates the symptom
