Interior lights kill switch

Ondoc & Monsta,

You won't drain the battery (to dead that is). Manual states (and yes I have tested this) that after 30 minutes the lights go out.

Still would be nice to turn off the interior...

Well... As with all solid front axle trucks, there is a little bit of bump steer. I have a 2002 'X' and it is very minor.

I do have more of a 'wandering' effect. This is where, I do not move...

If more than 30K to 50K, you might
want to change the fuel filter first.

Typical of doing OK at idle and light
load conditions, but at high loads can
not...

If he is talking about a black canister just behind the headlight, then that is the evaporator (charcol filled) for the fuel system.

Could be one of 2 things:

1 - Overfilling the gas...

Sorry, but I have never heard of this type of alarm on a personal vehicle. Have seen one on a comercial pickup...

This is a long shot. Is the fuel tank vented?

What I mean is that as you pump gas out, the tank needs to let air in. This is needed or otherwise the tank will start to have a low presure...
