pH and additive concentrations aren't in the correct ranges without the proper coolant/water mix. Running straight coolant is pretty foolish, though possibly better than adding tap water.

It definitely shouldn't be doing it on long highway trips, only short cold trips. Most likely the fuel pump seal or bad injector.

How quickly did the oil level rise? Getting that much fuel in the oil is usually a bad seal on the high pressure fuel pump under the valve cover.

My other reason for wishing I had gone with the 5.0L is faster warm-up, no intake coking issues / PCV issues, and no intercooler up...

It's not worth the extra cost for power and mpg, but several tuners recommend a higher octane even with stock programming. Detonation can cause problems and there have been a few cases of engines...
