I had a boot work loose after some work not long ago. I don't know if you have an OBDII tool/gauge, but I noticed a big drop in boost vs. backpressure with a boost leak. EGTs got my attention too....

As for the intake, I have the S&B: My old AIS was a much quieter intake, but that has no effect on a decel tune. The S&B with a 38R is a quieter intake than the 6637 with a stock turbo.
