OH used to display on the pumps the amount paid in taxes per gallon, but that stopped years ago. I'd rather not know since nothing we can do about it anyway.

I am on my 5th Ranger, and I don't think the radio dims. It really isn't too bright, so I don't see the problem. In fact, I don't think most radio's dim, but I could be wrong.
