Number still doesn't look right. What's the truck and what's the BOM on the rear axle? Most BOM's I've seen are like: Front Dana 60 = 610023-2, Rear Dana 60 = 603901-1. Those are off a 78 Ford...

My 78 Snow Fighter had dual batteries and as Brian1080 mentioned the aux battery tray was a mirror image of the main battery tray complete with flange that bolted to the side of the inner fender.

I used to tow a skidsteer behind my 77 Highboy crew (400m, NP435) & my 77 2wd crew (300, NP435) with no problem. About 9000 lbs.

Actually I've got one identical to that but same, it's for a styleside. Narrower flareside requires, what is proving to be a hard find, the skinny, 6 1/2' version.

I agree a hard tonneau would look cool and I'll probably do something for fairer weather but I'd also like to purchase or build a period style cap for when I'm hauling stuff.
