Hi I have a 50 Merc. overdrive in my 48 F1.The tranny works fine,but leaks oil out of the lockout switch while driving.I had a another used switch,but it also leaks oil.Can I do away with the switch...

I bought mine from hotrodsclassic...

I bought mine from hotrodsclassic truckparts.Worked out real good.Peel the paper off and install.No sticky black adhesive to try to clean up.It is hollow core and the doors like.

I have done two tanks using Por 15. One was on my 53 about 12 years a go and no problems.I used a hotsy high pressure washer to clean it out. Make sure you follow the directions,must be dry.

I just added mirrors to my hinges on my 48 F1.I bought mine from Bob Drake in Oregon and they came with the right pins.I ordered two more pins for the lower hinges and had to cut about one quarter...
