The defrost will not work as good on a vehicle that does not have a/c. Alot of people do not know this but the compressor cycles while on defrost. This removes moisture from the air that is coming...

I have not read that thread, but im assuming you cant get the wheels of the axles? Take some penetrating oil and spray around the studs, take a big prybar and stick between the tires and pry on em....

The tools should slide into the holes like you...

The tools should slide into the holes like you have already done. They will go in smooth when u get resistance stop pushing. Push the tools outward away from each other and viola!!! This should work...

Yea definately replace the shift motor. Its going to stick again guaranteed. May take a while but it will. And the time it will stick is when your stuck. Not good haha.

I know you said it didnt seem to be coming from the Front end, but i would double check. I have seen IWE issues sound like they are coming from the transfer case when its really just transfering...
