Yes an overdrive would be nice, I missed out on one cheap recently for several hundred bucks, came out of a Corvette and was banging on the floor at times and the bloke just wanted to get rid of it.

OT, don't you love it when you see an ad on Ebay and it says no reserve, then gives a starting price

Time and again you see this on ads, no reserve yet they have set a price for the 1st bid. No reserve means just that. What I presume they mean is no hidden reserve. Here is an example.
