Replacing the engine wiring harness is a pretty...

Replacing the engine wiring harness is a pretty decent job. The hardest thing (to me) was having to pull the AC compressor for the CKP plug. Take lots of pictures and plan for a full day.

The only place you need silicone on the HPOP cover is at the back corners where the rear engine cover meets the block at the "T" seal/joint and just a dab right there.

No, the rear main seal isn't a problem if it's installed correctly. There were lots of claimed rear main leaks in the beginning, but hasn't been an issue for a LONG time.

If you're talking about the engine lubricating oil pressure there's not a sending unit for it. The dash gauge is basically an idiot light with a needle that reads normal at 7.5 psi.
