Sounds like a bad hose. Don't be shy - see if you can see a crack near the fitting by bending the hose. Maybe you can put some power steering fluid in, run the engine and see where its coming from.

How about just a bad solenoid? But I remember from years ago that if you hear clicking with turning the key to 'start', the solenoid is working. I guess it probably is the starter.

Sounds like a restriction in the oil pickup area. It also could be a worn-out oil pump or even coked-up block/heads that are not letting the oil drain back. I believe it actually is an oil-starvation...

Yeah, it all depends on how you use your truck. In my case the main thing I use the bed for is to take cuttings to the landfill 3 or 4 times a year or pick up a load of mulch. The drop-in works great...

You know what? At the cost of a professional bed liner job, I think I would drop a bed liner in it because of the damaged bed. I think you are going to have high spots shining through at some point...

Just for grins separate the ABS harness connectors at each wheel and look for looseness or corrosion. I probably would put some dielectric grease in the connectors and try again to see if its okay.
