The flat bed isn't staying. I'm just saving some money at this point and looking for a good deal on a bed which may take a while to find. Once I find one though the flat bed will be taken off quicker...

It is currently removed because it is not long...

It is currently removed because it is not long enough to reach the pinion. I'm looking in to finding a longer slip-yoke, or having the driveshaft extended.

Checked both u-joints and they are good with no play. The u-bolts are good and snug. I took the driveshaft off of the transfer case to see how the tranny would react to that and it shifted fine no it...

Bad rear diff?

Since I've had my 1978 F250 it's always been a little tough to put in reverse from either park or drive. When I put it in reverse it bangs in to gear and sometimes even makes kinda like a clank...

Thanks! And as far as the drivetrain goes, I'll probably swap the intake out on the engine and put a 4barrel carb on it, along with fenderwell headers. For the time being I think that should wake up...
