did mine about 10k ago, 1 at a time no HG. removed the heater box. didn't jack up or remove anything else. torquing a few of the nuts down were tough but doable.

have you changed both the fuel filters? the hfcm loads up with garbage, drain it, spray a can of carb cleaner (using the red tube) up in there ( the water in fuel drain).

I used the bulk hose on my turd v10, it was a PIA to work with. A lot cheaper, but time is money and I think I didn't save a cent at the end of it.

no, the aftermarket one IS that much smaller.

I did use the drilled housing. Temps where 203 ect 206 eot at idle or going slow. 206 ect 209 eot...

as long as the flp is ok fluctuating to 12.5v, I won't worry about it.
