There were both fresh air and recirculating air versions. The external air types used duct work through the knockout and to an inlet above the PS headlight. Many heaters were dealer options.

If your frame has rust, and you have the chance to sand blast it, I would. Ideally, you would put a coat of the POR15 paint followed by the POR15 Chassis...

That looks like the line to my I6 - along the DS...

That looks like the line to my I6 - along the DS frame rail, under the radiator support, and to the fuel pump on the PS.
