Toss the switch and motor. Get a two speed wiper motor and relay switch and install a two speed intermittent system and go from there. Use the arm off the old motor and the bracket that is bolted...

Just replaced one of mine with the DC unit off...

Just replaced one of mine with the DC unit off ebay for about 40 bucks. Arm is straight! Old unit had a sunk float. Change out took about five minutes. Fix it and forget it. JMHO!

WTF is a pinky-outer? The JB weld is a great idea and will work until you have time to get a regulator and new handle or sell the truck. IMHO.
