out of fuel

might look at fuel line connections. there's a u shaped plastic clip that holds the fuel line together. If fuel lines are not put together right and clip installed properly you could get air sucking...

you have a 390 bored .060 over, 428 std bore is 4.135. I've seen so much false info about the 390 that it's mind boggling. The only way to tell what you have is to dismantle it and check numbers....

All good things to look at but the most important is to starat at the brginning. PULL THE FUEL TANKS AND CHECK FOR BROKEN OR CLOGGED FUEL PICKUP SCREENS. this is the most common issue with no fuel.
