Converting your truck to disc brakes is a easy job. The internet is your friend , look up 9in brake conversions and the same for the front axle. Ther are companys tha sell kits just for this purpose....

I have a 390 in my 57 F 600 with a 5spd , I used the origional clutch slave cyl when I put the motor in . If your bell does'nt have the ears to bolt the slave cly a bracket is very easy to fab up....
