This was my Dad's F-100 in Buenos Aires Argentina. Pictures were taken around 1968-70. Was it a home built or an Argentinean Factory offering? Any help is appreciated.

Why? You may get 20% better fuel economy, but that will translate into 12 mpg up from 10. How many miles will you drive it in a year? Unless its broken, I would just make sure the 460 ran at its best.

I think it might be. On a conversion van the interior may be wider than a factory because there is about 3" (7.6 cm) of space between the metal and plastic. See my edit about seat widths.
