like I said,
if you are actually surging a stock turbo with stage 1's, you got air problems.

Surge is from lack of air getting to turbo.
So it over spins because there is no back pressure.

Well, the other thing, is it's near the pivot point of where its going to bump the tube.
So it would take massive amounts of travel to make it move that few extra inches.

So, should be good.

hydraullics are supposed to bleed themselves.

You'll feel it come in and out and work the air out.

stab it a few times. let it rest. blah blah.

Grab the whole assembly and shake.

Is there play?
if yes = bad ball joint,
if no = ball joints good.

You can do it with the tire on, its just harder to tell...

DIY, I've never had to bleed the slave from pulling it and letting it release.

if yours is getting air in it from that, it means its got a leak inside.

It still has about an inch it looks like.

Yeah I was just thinking that. Though the springs are pretty good up front, so jacking it up is hard with the little portable jack I have.

I'm going to try something here then head to the parts...

Down pipe is pretty easy. loosen it up, move it a bit then tighten back down and drive.

That is a PITA.

best to get a t4 kit and just build off there.

You should be able to get an s366 far far far...

I'm just worried that it might hit and cause some damage while driving, which ... isn't good.

Just remember to watch the boost gauge.

Pull the tire, pull the brake caliper and see if there is play in the rotors.
