The PATS system is telling you there is a problem and shuts off the fuel as a Theft protection.
Do this; turn key on to Run and leave...

Fuse 30 disables both ignition and fuel injection.

The other problem is no one has bothered to look at the code 1401 description...

On carb size on any motor it is a matter of displacement and rpm the application will be used.
The camshaft timing has a lot to say about what carb size will be most useful...

You have to trace the fault down. If I could tell just what was wrong I would charge you dealer cost....
